What we derive

  • We compute the occupied-area boundary ourselves: we subtract the Buffer Zone and Sovereign Base boundaries, as recorded in OpenStreetMap, from the DLS district polygons. It is neither a published nor a surveyed boundary, and it states nothing about legal or political status; it shows where Republic licensing and grid connection are unavailable.
  • The DSO publishes these areas to show an area-associated substation. They do not guarantee the eventual connection point or connection capability.
  • The Buffer Zone is not shaded. It is not a no-development area: Athienou and Pyla sit inside it and the land is farmed under specific arrangements.

Caveats

  • We reproduce what DSD publishes. These are not realtime measurements.
  • Daily snapshot of the source.
  • Indicative assessment. It is not planning or investment advice. Confirm with the competent authorities.
  • All data comes from published government and regulated-entity sources, with source and date on every surface.
  • Watercourses (DLS): the position is indicative and does not replace an official delineation by the Water Development Department.
  • Access (DLS): the position is indicative; legal access is confirmed only by an official cadastral check.
  • The topographic network (DLS) is a generalised rendering for the overview scale · the registered lines (DLS) are the cadastral survey and are drawn from zoom level 14 up. The network does not carry every seasonal stream or every registered access, and does not replace the registered lines.
  • Το Δίκτυο shows the state of the grid; it does not promise approvals.
